How to Send Money

Step 1: Visit any Western Union Locationand Complete the Form

Fill-out the Green Form or To Send Money Form

Step 2: Identify Yourself

Simply give your identification card.

List of Acceptable IDs in the Philippines:

  • Passport
  • Driver’s license
  • Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) ID
  • Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID
  • National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance
  • Police Clearance Certificate (electronic)
  • Postal ID
  • Voter’s ID
  • Government Service and Insurance System (GSIS) e-Card
  • Social Security System (SSS) card
  • Senior Citizen Card
  • Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) ID
  • OFW ID
  • Seaman’s Book
  • Alien Certification of Registration
  • Firearm license
  • Employment ID (Government and Private)
  • Student ID
  • Other IDs issued by the Government and its Instrumentalities (Digitized)


    • For students / minors who are beneficiaries of an OFW and who are not yet of voting age may produce:

  • School ID
  • Birth Certificate


    • For non-ResidentsFor non-Residents

  • Passport
  • Driver’s License


    • Step 3: Present Payment

    Give the FLA the form, cash and sign the receipt.

    Step 4: Get the Receipt

    Your receipt will have the MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) which you'll (Sender) provide to your receiver. .
